Pasteurized Egg Whites And Its Help On My Fitness Diet

Back when I was trying to bulk myself up, I’ve been doing my research on what might actually work for my case, whom have lost around 50lbs. and wants to regain them back. A solid food diet routine is to go with chicken meat, beef, and eggs. But like most of the bodybuilders I have asked, they usually take more than 6-10 boiled eggs, with 3 of them as a whole including the yellow.

Uhm, so 12 boiled eggs looks just like this… umay! Haha!

It’s a pretty tough road to take, yeah? And I’m not really complaining much because working out is just as challenging as proper diet. But somehow if there’s a better way to take those eggs in your body then I probably would’ve chosen that path…

And so yes there really is.

I’ve found a certain post regarding Pasteurized Liquid Eggs from Facebook, some with just the whites, some with only the yellows (hello leche flan! loljk), and some combined. But…

What Are Pasteurized Liquid Eggs?

Most of the people do not recommend eating shell eggs that are raw or under cooked due to the possibility that Salmonella bacteria may be present. So if you still want to go for it with a chance to prevent illness from bacteria: Keep eggs refrigerated, cook eggs until yolks are firm, and cook foods containing eggs thoroughly.

It’s all about safety and convenience.

Pasteurized eggs are eggs that have been pasteurized in order to reduce the risk of food-borne illness in dishes that are not cooked or are only lightly cooked. The process of pasteurization involves the use of heat to destroy harmful microorganisms present in the eggs without changing its composition and consistency. Quick Egg is free from any additives or preservatives. They are usually sold in bottles.

And just like the one I’ve found out, who happens to have a store that’s just a few minutes away from our place.

Well hello there Ate Elsie! I’d like some eggs please.

Hello Ovonovo Quick Eggs / Quick Egg Philippines!

I’ve finally met Ate Elsie personally who happens to be the storekeeper of Ovonovo / Quick Egg Philippines, located at this artisan market in Mandaluyong. The store sells bottles of whole eggs, egg whites, and egg yolks. They have some other products like free-range eggs too, and more.

We’ve particularly chosen to get the bottles of egg whites in 1 kilo bottles because whenever we eat eggs, we prefer just eating the whites, and around 1-3 yolks only. The consistency of the liquid egg whites are pretty much the same. And in terms of taste, we usually combine it with our protein shakes so there really isn’t much to worry.

There are definitely a lot more ways to consume this product: use the yolks for a delightful dessert, the whole eggs for simple frying, and even omelette! There’s sure a bunch of ideas you could think of using these liquid eggs!

Our preferred item of choice: Pasteurized Egg Whites!

Final Verdict: [yasr_overall_rating] (4.5)

YES, YES, and A BIG YES! It’s currently in my list of maintenance supplements as the primary reason for it is the idea of not having to break open eggs (lazy a**), and reducing the risk of getting infected with food-related bacteria.

This is our current routine at bedtime:. Protein and muscle recovery supplements, fruits, and pasteurized egg whites from Quick Egg Philippines!

Also, what is 30 egg whites in a single 1kg bottle combined with my favorite whey + fruits shake? Supplementation with ease! This on the other hand goes to people who are willing to shell out a little more in exchange of convenience as the bottles (the ones we buy), costs around P210.00 each, and they really expire fast so you’re locked-in with the idea of actually consuming them quickly, which I find helpful for my fitness goals in my opinion.

Go on and try it for yourself, too. Go for a bulkier nation ha!

Jeff’s Handling Tips On These Pasteurized Eggs

  • Do not expose the bottles to direct sunlight if possible, always unload in shaded and ventilated areas.
  • Do not allow these bottles to stand long in room temperature. Remember, these are still RAW eggs.
  • Keep at the coolest area of the chiller is possible, maintain at 0 to 4 degrees.
After opening, our maximum use (even with refrigeration) would be 2-3 days only. Do not take after those days upon opening.
  • Always take note of the expiry date as these eggs can expire as quiclky as 2 weeks even without opening and with refrigeration.
